 | My mom scolds me, "Anak, sayang naman buhok mo, mas bagay sayo mas mahaba", everytime I have my hair cut. Though I listen to her and try to be as obedient as possible, I still believe that changing one’s hairstyle can be inevitable.
It’s
-when you’re so stressed your gut tells you that getting a color or cut can relieve you from any burden and make you feel light.. -after a break-up or as a fulfillment of a new year’s resolution -when you’ll meet your friends after a long time and a big part of you want to make a good impression (even if you don’t admit it, hehe!) -before a special occasion, the start of summer, of another school year, of a career, of a family.. -when out of nowhere you look in the mirror and guilt suddenly possessed you knowing that you deprived your hair of the amount of care it deserves.. or simply -when you want to feel good about yourself! Talk about confidence, it can bring you places :)
I believe that makeovers are not made for feeding one's vanity but for boosting our self-esteem. Makeovers make us realize that each of us are beautiful, and that is good enough reason to be thankful and to celebrate life. Every. Single. Day. ;)
